An architect’s education — Vilnius, Strasbourg, Sotheby’s
Medeina studied interior design and architecture at the Vilnius Academy of Arts, where she was awarded the President A. Smetona Scholarship for outstanding academic achievement, and continued her architectural education at L’École Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Strasbourg in France. At Sotheby’s Institute of Art she studied the principles of luxury — the field her practice draws on when composing the final layer of an interior: furniture, objects, and art.
Before founding her practice, she worked on major international projects — private villas in Nice, banks in Luxembourg, the Nike House of Innovation on the Champs-Élysées — on the technical and construction side, an experience that grounds her interiors in how exceptional spaces are actually built. Today she works from Vilnius, leading a small team.

Spatial analysis and layout
Every project begins in conversation – expectations, priorities, how the client actually lives. From there, a detailed analysis of the spaces and a layout proposal. The result of this stage: an approved furniture plan and a spatial concept.

Interior concept
Once the functional layout is approved, the architectural direction of the space takes shape — its mood, materiality, and aesthetic logic. Interior visualisations, stylistic collages, and material palettes follow. A clearly defined direction becomes the basis for every subsequent decision and ensures coherence throughout the project.

Technical design and documentation
Our projects comprise 40 to 70 sheets of technical drawings, depending on the area and complexity of the brief. We design everything — from partitions and engineering systems to lighting schemes, cabinetry, and upholstered furniture.

Furniture, lighting and fittings
Every element is chosen to support the overall architectural idea. Weighing lead times, budget, and longevity, we assemble the right furniture, lighting, and fittings for the project. We design the cabinetry and prepare technical specifications for lighting and equipment.

Curation of private spaces
In the final stage, Medeina completes the interior at the level of authorship — selecting the textiles, home fragrance, elements of the table, works of art and details that join architecture and daily life into a single whole.
This is not decoration. It is the shaping of an interior’s character — a balanced, calm environment made to last.
